The authors make many off-hand claims with little textual evidence. They offer citations infrequently, and when they do attempt to substantiate their unwarranted claims, they often cite works that are grossly out of date. Grammar, logic, reasoning, and editing errors are abundant, which also reflects poorly on the press. This sloppy editing failed to check the use of phrases like "the human races" or claims that email use causes a flattening of organizational hierarchy, for example.
