Electrical Apprentice Aptitude Test ReviewIn short it's a terrible book. It first offers no explantation to the data contained. It's more of a generic copy and paste type thing. The author seems to do a lot of similar books which leads me to believe that quanity in this case does not produce quality. The test itself doesn't seem to fit anywhere. It's to complicated to be an entry level test for an electrical apprentice. The NJATC (National Joint Apprenticeship and Training Committe)seems to rely more on a reading comprehension and mathmatical aptitude test. It's also not complicated enough to be a journey man test for those who have finished the apprenticeship program. For example it offers no section on blue print reading that seems to me to be a key journey man test construct. So inturn my final conclusions are that this book needs some serious work and I would love to hear the exact placement for this test in apprenticeship dogma. Also the kicker is that there is an answer sheet in the back of the book to actually take the test that doesn't have enough numbers to do the test.
