Murder in the Hoosier Corn ReviewWe have had several requests for this book at our library, because of morbid curiosity about a local crime. But I wish we had never purchased it.
This book is a poorly written, narcissistic, 'fictionalized' account of a very horrific murder.
I urge you not to buy it or read it. I agree with the other reviewer that it should be removed from Amazon's catalog.
Having a young daughter, I take personal offense at this adult man's description of a 14-year-old girl's body as having "a rear end like a black girl, appearing to start in the middle of her back and swelling into two appealing round mounds" ..... among other things.
I find this book, and it's author, disgusting.
If there were a way to give this book a 'less than one star' rating, I would.Murder in the Hoosier Corn OverviewA novel about a gruesome murder in rural Southern Indiana. Based on true events. Written by the detective who investigated the crime.
