I Want My Son Back: The Harrowing True Story of a Fathers Fight for Custody ReviewThis book is an incredible piece of writing! Never before had I read something which invoked such an intense emotional response. Being a born-cynic, I have always been of the opinion that there exists corruption in the various systems in this country as well as people who are not above being deceitful in order to get what they want. To believe otherwise would be dangerously naïve. Until, I read this book, however, I had no idea of the depths to which this crookedness and deceit could sink. The most powerful writing comes from the heart and soul and it is obvious that the author has poured both of these into the pages of his novel. From a literary standpoint, it is well written but more importantly, the work raises awareness to the sick and abhorrent acts which are being committed under our noses every day. I wish this book were fiction. The most profound and frightening portion of the novel is the evidence at the end of the book right there supporting the preceding story text. Given this fact, I find it intriguing to read the negative comments listed as reviews for this book on Amazon.com. The flavor of their language and verb tense strongly suggests that they have not even read the novel!
