Perhaps the "Publish or perish" university environment forces people to publish something--anything--or perhaps the authoress uses this to train her HR classes. Certainly it is so general and so non-substantive as to be useless to a genuine 3rd party recruiter/executive search consultant. Maybe personnel people will benefit. Nice title, but false promise.Genuine recruiters (I'm one, and have been for 20 years) who are interested in achieving REAL "High-Performance Recruiting" from a highly-credentialed author (not an HR person) should take a look at the 2008 edition of Steven Finkel's 380-page hardbound book "Breakthrough!
